Meet, Katelyn
Tell us a little about yourself and why you decided to make a change to your health
My name is Katelyn. I'm 19 years old and I love animals and fitness! I decided to make a change because I was always putting myself down and I wasn't living up to the potential I knew that I would. I didn't feel like myself and I wanted to feel good again!
What fitness goals did you achieve this past year and what are your goals for the next 12 months?
Around Christmas time is when I started my fitness goal, we had planned a trip to go overseas in July (2020) and I wanted to be fit and healthy for the holiday so I've been working my ass of for the last 4 and a half months eating healthy and gyming weekly. My goal was to look and feel strong, toned again, to start building up my muscles and have a bigger booty by the end of the 12 months.
What changes have you made to your diet?
For my diet I cut out all processed sugars and fats. I just eat lots of salads, meats, proteins, vegetables. All the fresh good stuff along with my LUXE Protein Powder.
What does your weekly fitness routine look like?
I gym six times a week doing legs three time a week, arms and core twice a week and the one day for HIIT cardio, and one day of rest.
How have LUXE Fitness Supplements helped you reach your goals?
Using LUXE products helps me keep on top of my healthy routine. I wake up, go to the gym and have a shake. Having my protein shake and eating my burner gummies also stops my sweet cravings!
What are your favourite LUXE products?
My favourite products are the non-flavoured collagen powder, the cinnamon donut protein powder, the burner gummies and the berry night burner tea. I use all these products daily!
What's your tip for other people looking to adapt a healthier lifestyle?
Fitness is something that takes time and it doesn't just happen over night, you just have to take it day by day. Even if you go to the gym for 15 minutes, you still went and as time goes on it will get easier and easier. In no time, four months will go by and you'll already be reaching some of your goals! You also have an amazing community of females behind you and that is another reason why I love LUXE and it helped me achieve so many goals!

Tell us a little about yourself and why you decided to make a change to your health
My heaviest I weighed in at 105kgs, I was always angry and frustrated at my body and my health. I wasn’t happy with what I was doing with my body and how I was living. I was struggling to walk upstairs without breathing like just ran a 10km marathon. I was unfit and I wasn't happy. So, one day I woke up and decided enough was enough and made a change - I bought my first bottle of luxe and never turned back. I saw all these pictures of LUXE transformations which motivated me to never give up.
What fitness goals did you achieve this past year and what are your goals for the next 12 months?
I wanted to drop to 65kgs and tone my body. It was a struggle at first but once I started seeing results, it became easy. In the past year I have toned my body and lost 42.7kgs. My goal for the next 12 months is to get lean and tone my problem areas on my body.
What does your weekly fitness routine look like?
I go to the gym 6 times a week, sometimes twice a day depending on how I feel about my workouts.
What are your favourite LUXE products?
The Ultra Burner and Burner Gummies are my favourite right now. They taste amazing and doesn’t leave a nasty after taste in my mouth. Definitely helps a lot with my focus during workouts as well.
What's your tip for other people looking to adapt a healthier lifestyle?
The one thing everybody and anybody should know about fitness is that it doesn’t get easier. You just get stronger. You shouldn’t give up on your goals because it gets hard. Keep pushing and love the body you are in while working for the body that you want!

What made you want to try a healthier lifestyle?
I had always been slim but after two children and some health issues, I had gained over 20kgs. It was having a negative impact on my mental health and relationships. Not only my relationship with myself, but others as well. I have spent 10+ years working in the health and fitness industry and I knew that I needed to make a change and not only lose weight, but live a healthier lifestyle as a family.
What key changes/support helped you achieve your goals?
As I am still recovering from a difficult pregnancy, I was restricted with what exercises I could do. Food plays a huge role in weight loss and I made sure I focused on that. I started 16:8 intermittent fasting and I had LUXE Fitness protein with lunch every day.
What's been your key struggle?
With two small children in the house and a husband addicted to chocolate, the temptation of bad food was all around me. I ended up splitting the pantry so I have my own cupboard and am not tempted by their naughty treats. Not being able to exercise like I used to previously has been difficult, as well as finding the time around my kids.
What LUXE product helped you achieve your results?
I have been taking the FB Capsules every morning, Women's Protein Powder at lunch, and the Matcha Tea before bed.
What's your tip for other people looking to adapt a healthier lifestyle?
It's not one size fits all. You need to find what works for you and make changes you are happy with to live a healthier life you love!

Tell us a little about yourself and why you decided to make a change to your health
The reason I started this journey was because one day I woke up and looked at myself in the mirror and was not happy with the way I looked. I also watched my sister for the past 5 years lose 55kgs and seeing her motivation and determination inspired me! I also wanted to love myself again and feel confident, especially after having two kids.
What fitness goals did you achieve this past year and what are your goals for the next 12 months?
I've been on this journey for over two months and my fitness goals were to just get active again really. I was never active and I'm still working on that part of the journey. My goal for the next 12 months is to lose at least 15kgs and be able to run and love doing fitness.
What changes have you made to your diet?
Flexible dieting = protein, less carbs and sugar! It was hard at first but now I love waking up in the morning to eat something fresh and healthy! I no longer feel bloated or yuck. I don't eat bread, pasta etc.
What are your favourite LUXE products?
LUXE Protein Powder has helped immensely, I have it with my smoothies and as a dessert. I feel full and energised once I've had my protein powder. My favourite product is definitely the protein powder, especially Strawberry Cheesecake, I couldn't believe how much it tasted exactly the same. I love the packaging, I love the smell, its just perfect!
What's your tip for other people looking to adapt a healthier lifestyle?
I want other people out there to know it's totally okay to struggle especially when it comes to fitness. It took me a month to get into fitness and I still struggle. Once you make the first move, you'll be so damn proud of yourself and motivation will creep up on you and you'll be set. It's okay to not do it everyday, this is a journey and it's hard. It's not a walk in the park. You can totally do it, once you see the results, you'll be on cloud 9.
